ProDentim Reviews: What We Could Verify Before You Pay
By HealthyHubUSA Editorial Team · Last updated
Quick verdict
Unproven for this product. Worth a cautious look only if you accept the refund strings.
What looks reasonable
- ✓ Once-a-day chewable tablet (vendor-stated)
- ✓ One strain named by code, BL-04 (vendor-stated)
- ✓ Written 60-day refund steps (vendor-stated)
- ✓ Free shipping in the US (vendor-stated)
Check before you buy
- • No study of the product itself found (PubMed, 2026-10-08). Don't expect proven results.
- • Return shipping is on you, and all bottles go back. Keep the box and tracking.
- • Vendor pages disagree on used bottles. Ask support in writing before ordering.
- • Trustpilot 1.9 from 101 reviews (unverified opinions). Read the recent ones first.
- • Price not verified here. The live checkout is the only price that counts.
Not a fit if you want a treatment backed by clinical trials for gum disease. For that, see a dentist.

Search for ProDentim and you'll find reviews saying it works and others calling it a scam. This page does neither. Before you pay, here is what we could and couldn't verify on the vendor's sales page and policy pages: we checked its claims against sources, looked at the research on its listed strains, and read the actual refund rules.
Verdict in one line: unproven for this product, and the refund has real strings attached (buyer pays return shipping, all bottles go back), and 81% of its Trustpilot reviews are one-star (unverified opinions). A cautious trial is a personal choice that makes sense only if you accept those terms and see a dentist for gum symptoms.
The refund in one line: the vendor's 60 days start on the day the order is delivered, you pay to ship every bottle back (empty or not), and the vendor's own pages disagree on whether used bottles count.
Details are in the box just below.
Disclosure and how we checked
- Commission: We are an independent publisher. We have no ownership in the vendor and no payment from it other than the affiliate commission described here. If you buy through the link below, we earn a commission paid by the vendor. We do not add any fee to your order; the price is set by the vendor.
- What we did: on 2026-10-08 we read the vendor's sales page (prodentim.com/text.php) and its Refund Policy and Shipping Policy pages, and skimmed its Terms and Disclaimer pages; searched PubMed for ProDentim and its listed strains; read the FDA and NIDCR pages cited below; and read the vendor's public Trustpilot page.
- What we did NOT do: we have not tested the product; no lab analysis; no clinical judgment (we are not dentists or doctors); we have not tested the refund process; we have not contacted the vendor, so we have no vendor reply to report; we did not read the Supplement Facts label; we did not see the checkout screen, so we did not verify the price.
- Date checked: 2026-10-08. Pages change, so check live.
- Label legend:
- Sourced = an independent source we read supports it.
- Vendor-stated = the vendor's page says this; we did not independently confirm it.
- Unverified = we could not confirm it.
- Unverified, wording misleading = we could not support it, and the wording is likely to mislead.
- Contradicted = a source we read says the opposite (this includes the vendor's own pages disagreeing with each other).

Is ProDentim right for you? The short answer
It may suit you if you want a daily chewable probiotic tablet, you accept that no study we found tested this product, and you are willing to follow the refund steps and pay return shipping if you need to.
It may not suit you if you have bleeding gums, loose teeth or ongoing mouth pain, because those call for a dentist. It also may not suit you if you are pregnant, nursing or on medication, because the vendor's own disclaimer says to consult a physician first. And it may not suit you if you want proof of results, because we found none specific to this product.
If you can't afford to ship back a package at your own cost, or may not manage it within 60 days of delivery, weigh that before you order.
ProDentim ingredients and what you're actually buying
- Format (vendor-stated): a chewable tablet: "slowly chew a tablet every morning." A tablet, not a capsule.
- Strains as listed (vendor-stated): L. paracasei (no strain code given), B. lactis BL-04, L. reuteri (no strain code given). Strain codes matter because research is done on specific strains, not species in general.
- Count: the page says "3.5 billion" and does not state the unit. Probiotic counts are usually given in CFU (colony-forming units, a count of live microbes), but the page doesn't say whether this is per tablet or per serving, so we cannot tell what it measures. We did not read the Supplement Facts label.
- Blend (vendor-stated): a "proprietary blend of 4 plants and minerals": inulin, malic acid, tricalcium phosphate and peppermint. If you are sensitive to any of these, check the label first.
- Offer (vendor-stated): 3- and 6-bottle bundles and two digital bonuses.
- Shipping (vendor-stated): free shipping in the US per the Shipping Policy (5 to 7 working days; tracking email within 60 hours). Canada, UK/Ireland and Australia/NZ list $15.95 (10 to 15 working days).
- Price: We did not verify the price. It loads dynamically from the checkout, and it was not in the page's scripts we could read. Read the live checkout screen.
Claims we checked on the vendor's sales page
We marked the vendor claims we could check. Absence of a label here does not mean a claim is true.
| Claim on vendor page | Status | What we found |
|---|---|---|
| "95,000 reviews" | Unverified | No source lets us count or confirm it. |
| "Doctor-formulated" | Unverified | The page we read gives no name or credential we could check. |
| "Clinically proven" | Unverified | The cited trial used a different strain, format and patient group (see the research section). |
| Vendor's claim: "supports gums, teeth and fresh breath" | Unverified | We found no study of the product itself. The one cited trial tested a different strain (see the research section). |
| "Manufactured in an FDA-approved facility" | Unverified, wording misleading | FDA says it "does NOT have the authority to approve dietary supplements for safety and effectiveness" before they are sold. FDA periodically inspects supplement facilities, which is not the same as approving one. The page we read names no facility and cites no inspection. |
| Strains listed | Vendor-stated | Codes are missing for two of three. |
| Disclaimer (not for any disease; consult a physician if pregnant, nursing, on medication or with a medical condition) | Vendor-stated | Stated on the vendor's pages. |
| 60-day money-back guarantee | Vendor-stated | Exists on the sales page and in a written Refund Policy (see the refund section). |
| Free shipping | Vendor-stated, US only | Shipping Policy: free in the US; $15.95 listed for Canada, UK/Ireland, Australia/NZ. |
| Return "what you haven't used" (sales page) vs "send all the bottles back... empty or not" (Refund Policy) | Contradicted (vendor's own pages) | The two pages say different things. See the refund section. |
| Citation year "2012" for the Invernici trial | Contradicted | The vendor's DOI link is correct, but the paper is volume 45 of J Clin Periodontol, which is 2018. |
ProDentim refund policy, step by step
ProDentim's written Refund Policy gives 60 days from the day the order is delivered. You email support with "Refund Request" in the subject, then send all bottles back, empty or not, and you pay return shipping. We read the policy on 2026-10-08 but have not tested the process.
The vendor's main purchase safeguard is its 60-day guarantee. Read its actual terms below before you order.
What the Refund Policy says
Vendor-stated; prodentim.com/help/refunds.php, read 2026-10-08:
- "You have 60 days from the moment you get your package." Check you are still inside the 60 days that start "with the day the order has been delivered to you" (use carrier tracking).
- Email support with "Refund Request" in the subject line.
- "Send all the bottles back to us (no matter if they are empty or not)... It doesn't matter if the bottles are opened or not." Include a note with your full name, email and order ID, plus the packing slip. "We do not support the return shipping costs," so you pay. Return address listed on 2026-10-08: 285 Northeast Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278. Confirm it on the live policy page before shipping anything.
- You get a refund email once it is processed. The policy says processing takes 5 to 10 days for the refund to appear on your card.
Order support: the page lists ClickBank (clkbank.com) and a toll-free number, 1-800-390-6035. Product questions go by email. Trustpilot reviewers mention phone difficulties and upsell calls (see the customer complaints section).
Where the vendor's pages disagree
The sales page says to return "what you haven't used," while the Refund Policy says to send back ALL bottles, empty or not. The Refund Policy is the more specific and formal text, but keep screenshots of both and confirm in writing which applies.
There is also a tension to know about: the same page says the vendor usually advises using the product "for at least 3 months... before reaching a conclusion." The refund window is 60 days. Following the 3-month advice would run past the refund window.
Worked example
Our illustration, not vendor terms: the carrier shows delivery on day 0.
- Day 0: delivered. Photograph the bottles and packing slip.
- Day 45: send your "Refund Request" email at the latest, so mail time doesn't push you past the deadline.
- Day 60: the policy deadline. The page doesn't say whether the email date or the date the package arrives counts. Ask in writing.
- After the vendor processes it: refund email, then 5 to 10 days for it to show on your card.
Day-1 checklist
- Keep the tracking proof of delivery, photos of the bottles and packing slip, and every email.
- Use "Refund Request" as the subject line.
- Ask in writing whether the sales page's "unused only" wording matters, and when the 60 days are counted to.
- Ship back with a tracked service and keep the receipt.
- Set calendar reminders for day 30, 45 and 55.
- Check your card issuer's dispute window. This is not a guarantee of any outcome.
Honest limit: we have read the policy but have not tested the process and have not contacted the vendor. This section describes the written terms, not how refunds go in practice. For that, see the customer complaints section.
Does ProDentim work? What the research on these strains shows
We found no PubMed-indexed study of ProDentim on 2026-10-08 (0 articles for "ProDentim"). The trial the vendor cites tested a different strain, B. lactis HN019, as lozenges in 41 people with periodontitis who also had a deep cleaning. ProDentim lists B. lactis BL-04. That does not prove no study exists anywhere.
The trial the vendor cites
The vendor cites a trial in people with periodontitis (serious gum disease). We read its PubMed abstract. The vendor's page links the correct DOI (10.1111/jcpe.12995) but prints the year as 2012. Volume 45 of J Clin Periodontol is 2018. Paper: Invernici et al., 2018 (https://doi.org/10.1111/jcpe.12995).
| Item | What the trial studied | What ProDentim lists |
|---|---|---|
| Strain | B. animalis subsp. lactis HN019 | B. lactis BL-04 |
| Format | Lozenges used twice a day for 30 days | Chewable tablet, one each morning |
| People | 41 patients with generalized chronic periodontitis | Not specified |
| Setting | Added to scaling and root planing (a deep professional cleaning) | Not stated as an add-on to dental treatment |
| Finding | At 90 days, the probiotic group had a greater decrease in probing pocket depth (how deep the gum "pocket" around a tooth measures) and a greater clinical attachment gain (how much the gum re-attached to the tooth) | Not applicable |
Our reading: this trial does not show anything about ProDentim or BL-04. A second Invernici paper (PLoS One 2020, https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0238425) also used HN019, in 30 patients.
Our PubMed searches (2026-10-08)
- "ProDentim" on PubMed: 0 articles. We found no PubMed-indexed study of ProDentim itself on that date. That does not prove none exists anywhere.
- BL-04 plus oral, dental, gingival, periodontal or saliva terms: 4 papers, none an oral-health trial of BL-04. In short: a 5-strain open-label study (no comparison group) of digestive symptoms (doi); a strain safety evaluation (doi); a pilot RCT (randomized controlled trial) of a 4-strain blend for C. difficile (doi); and a 2008 immune-response study in healthy adults (doi). This is our search result, not proof nothing exists.
| Strain as listed | Oral-health research we verified |
|---|---|
| L. paracasei (no code) | Not yet verified by us |
| B. lactis BL-04 | None found in our search (above) |
| L. reuteri (no code) | Not yet verified by us |
Absence of our check isn't absence of research, and strain-level results may not apply to this product.
ProDentim side effects and safety
We did not find or verify side-effect data for this product, so we won't list any, and we won't say it is safe or unsafe. The vendor's disclaimer says the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and to consult a physician if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a medical condition. We agree with asking first in those cases. Check the blend (inulin, malic acid, tricalcium phosphate, peppermint) against any sensitivities. If you react badly, stop and contact a health professional.
When to see a dentist instead
NIDCR lists these gum disease symptoms: red, swollen or tender gums; gums that bleed easily; gums pulling away from the teeth; loose or sensitive teeth; pain while chewing; persistent bad breath. NIDCR says people with periodontal disease "will need to receive treatment from a dentist or dental hygienist." Its basic advice is to brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and floss regularly, and NIDCR says early gum disease "can often be reversed by daily brushing and flossing." If you have any of these symptoms, book a dental visit. A supplement is not a substitute for that visit.

ProDentim customer complaints: what buyers report
We do not publish customer testimonials. We cannot verify who wrote them, and quoting them would make claims we can't source.
Trustpilot figures as of 2026-10-08
What we can report is a count. On 2026-10-08 we read ProDentim's public Trustpilot page: TrustScore 1.9 ("Poor"), 101 reviews, 81% one-star and 11% five-star. The latest review shown was dated April 13, 2026. Among the roughly 30 reviews visible to us, the recurring themes were refund requests delayed or denied, no results, and difficulty reaching the vendor by phone along with upsell calls. Those themes come only from the visible reviews, not all 101. Trustpilot reviews are unverified opinions, and this page does not tell us how any individual case ended. Review sites can over-represent people with strong experiences in either direction, so treat the percentages as a signal, not a measurement. The vendor's "95,000 reviews" claim is unverified.
Where to buy ProDentim, price and bundles
The vendor offers a single bottle plus 3- and 6-bottle bundles and two digital bonuses (vendor-stated). Shipping is free in the US per the Shipping Policy; Canada, UK/Ireland, Australia/NZ list $15.95. We did not verify the price. Read the live checkout screen.
If you decide to try it, consider one bottle first. This is our editorial suggestion, not a finding. A single bottle may cost more per bottle than a bundle, and the policy says refunds require sending back ALL bottles, so a bigger order means a bigger return package and shipping bill. We link to the vendor's site in the disclosure box and in the verdict. We did not check other sellers.
Our conditional verdict
We can't tell you whether ProDentim will do anything for you, and no evidence we found does either. The cited trial tested a different strain in a different format on a different group. We found no PubMed-indexed study of ProDentim itself on 2026-10-08. One headline claim, "made in an FDA-approved facility," is wording we could not support. FDA does not approve supplements, and the page names no facility or inspection.
Why some people still try it
- Oral probiotics are a real research area. One 41-patient trial (Invernici) found greater pocket-depth improvement when a different strain, HN019, was added to professional dental treatment. That says nothing about ProDentim.
- The listing names one strain by code (BL-04), which at least lets you look up that strain (vendor-stated).
- It is a once-a-day chewable with nothing to mix (vendor-stated).
- The vendor offers a 60-day guarantee with written steps (stated on its Refund Policy page, vendor-stated), so on paper the downside is limited if you follow them exactly. Some Trustpilot reviewers report delayed or denied refunds, and we have not tested the process. The strings: you pay return shipping, all bottles go back, and the 60 days run from delivery.
Our verdict: if you still want to try it, the sensible conditions are that you accept it is untested for your situation, you have read the refund steps and are willing to follow them and pay return shipping, and you see a dentist for any gum symptoms.
Before you order
- Read the refund steps above. Ask the vendor in writing if anything is unclear, including the "unused only" versus "all bottles" wording. Rely on the written reply.
- Read the live checkout price and consider one bottle first.
- See a dentist for bleeding, swollen or loose-tooth symptoms. A supplement does not replace that.

ProDentim FAQ
Is ProDentim a scam or legit?
We don't give either verdict. We found no study of the product itself, we could not support several vendor claims, and the refund has strings attached: the buyer pays return shipping, all bottles must go back, and the vendor's own pages disagree on whether used bottles count. Trustpilot shows 81% one-star reviews, which are unverified opinions. Read the claims table on this page.
Does ProDentim really work?
We don't know. We found no PubMed-indexed study of ProDentim on 2026-10-08. The trial the vendor cites tested a different strain (HN019, not BL-04) as lozenges, in people with serious gum disease who were also receiving a deep professional cleaning.
What are the ingredients?
The vendor lists L. paracasei (no strain code), B. lactis BL-04 and L. reuteri (no strain code), plus a proprietary blend of inulin, malic acid, tricalcium phosphate and peppermint. It states "3.5 billion" without a unit. We did not read the Supplement Facts label.
What are the side effects?
We did not verify side-effect data. The vendor says to consult a physician if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a medical condition. Stop and seek advice if you react badly.
What are the customer complaints?
We don't publish testimonials. On 2026-10-08 Trustpilot showed a TrustScore of 1.9 from 101 reviews, 81% of them one-star. In the roughly 30 reviews visible to us, the themes were delayed or denied refunds, no results, and hard-to-reach phone support with upsell calls. These are unverified opinions, and the themes come only from the visible reviews.
How does the ProDentim refund work?
Per the vendor's Refund Policy: you have 60 days from the day the order is delivered. Email support with "Refund Request" in the subject, then send ALL bottles back (empty or not, opened or not) with a note and the packing slip. You pay return shipping. Once it is processed, the policy says 5 to 10 days for the refund to appear on your card. The sales page says to return "what you haven't used," which conflicts with this, so keep both and confirm in writing. We have not tested the process.
Where can I buy ProDentim?
The vendor sells through its own site. We did not check other sellers. Shipping is free in the US per the Shipping Policy; Canada, UK/Ireland, Australia/NZ list $15.95. We did not verify the price, so read the live checkout.
What does a dentist say about ProDentim?
We have no dentist's statement about this product and won't invent one. The NIDCR says people with periodontal disease need treatment from a dentist or dental hygienist, and it recommends brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and flossing regularly.
Is ProDentim a capsule or a tablet?
The vendor describes a chewable tablet, taken by slowly chewing one every morning.
Is ProDentim made in an FDA-approved facility?
The vendor says so, but we could not support that wording. FDA says it does not have the authority to approve dietary supplements for safety and effectiveness before they are sold. FDA periodically inspects supplement facilities, which is not the same as approving one. The page we read names no facility and cites no inspection.
Can I get a refund if I used all the bottles?
The Refund Policy says to send all the bottles back "no matter if they are empty or not," and that it doesn't matter if they are opened. So by the written policy, empty bottles can be returned. The 60 days from delivery still apply (the policy does not say whether the request date or the return-arrival date counts), and you pay return shipping. The sales page's "return what you haven't used" wording conflicts with this, so confirm in writing before you rely on it.
Do I need to use it for 3 months?
The vendor advises using it "for at least 3 months... before reaching a conclusion." The refund window is only 60 days from delivery. If you follow the 3-month advice, you will be past the refund window. Decide beforehand which matters more to you, and ask the vendor in writing if you want to know how it treats this.
